The Conn 10D is a great horn model. They play very easily, have a great sound, and blend well in band and orchestra settings all while maintaining a relatively budget friendly price on the used horn market. This particular horn, is in great shape with only minor cosmetic defects. There have been some repairs done to this horn, but I have extensively played this horn to make sure it will make a great horn for whoever purchases it.
The valves have excellent compression and the slides all work properly. The screw bell works great (though it is ever so slightly stiff), and the horn has been professionally cleaned and serviced in my shop. This is a great horn, and is worth considering if you are in the market for a great playing, budget friendly Geyer-style horn.
Of course there are a few dings and dents from use and the normal lacquer wear, but nothing that is affecting how the horn plays at all. This is a great horn!
Included is the original Conn screw bell case. No mouthpiece is included, but I found that the Laskey 775G mouthpiece works very well with it, so if you need to purchase a mouthpiece I'd suggest you consider that one.
