This is a fantastic little Mirafone compensating descant with a stopping valve. The stopping valve is operated by the player's pinky which is, surprisingly, pretty comfortable. The valves are in excellent condition. Everything works as it should, and this horn has a ton of life left in it!
This horn plays and sounds great. It has a very smooth, sweet sound. This horn will make a great addition to any players collection. Some musicians may want this horn for high horn parts like the Bach Brandenburg concertos.
There has been some previous damage to the bell (very well repaired) and a minor bump in the bell tail. Both can be seen in the pictures. Neither of these are affecting how the horn plays.
The original case is included. It is in excellent used condition. No mouthpiece is included. I suggest playing this horn with a shallower cup mouthpiece. If you need to purchase one, a Yamaha 30C4 worked well for me with this horn. I often have these for sale on the mouthpiece page of this site.
The serial number is 11194.
