This Conn 8D is a fantastic instrument. While the 8D is a good model in general and certainly has been a staple instrument for decades, not every one is made the same. But this one in particular is quite nice and plays amazingly. It is basically in new condition. There are no dents and only very minor scratches from light use.
After playing this horn for a good long while (as I do with any instrument I sell), I found that this horn has amazing slurring capabilities, has a very clear, but warm sound, and all the notes slot very well. The high register is a little harder than the high register on my Geyer horn, but this is to be expected, and it is still quite nice and easily manageable. The low register is very powerful and the horn has tremendous volume capabilities (both soft and loud). This is a fantastic horn!
The serial number is 953987. The original case (in great used condition) is included. No mouthpiece is included.

This instrument may be returned up to one week after the horn is delivered. If the horn is returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs both to and from the buyer. If the instrument is damaged in the posession of the customer, all repairs will be the sole responsilbility of the customer.
