The King 2269 is one of my favorite horns to recommend to students and amateaure players. It is a horn that plays well beyond its price point!
 
This particular horn is in great used condition. It has its share of little dents and dings, but overall still looks great and certainly plays amazing! All the registers speak well and the horn has a clear, beautiful sound. The valves have excellent compression and all the slides work properly. This horn has been professionally cleaned and inspected here in my shop and it is ready to play!
 
There is a small patch on the leadpipe (I had this added by my friend and teacher John Ericson) over top of a small pinhole leak that I'm sure was formed by a leadpipe bump at some point. The leadpipe does look like it has taken some damage in the past. That said, it has been really well straightened out and works perfectly despite some minor cosmetic damage. There are also some repaired dents and dings in the bell flare and tail of the horn. None of these things are affecting how the horn plays at all.
 
Included is the original King case in good used condition. No mouthpiece is included.
