This King 2269 Fidelio is a fantastic instrument. It plays very well with a clean sound and great note slotting in all registers. It has a bright, focused sound. George McCracken designed this model of horn for King back in the day. He really knew what he was doing when he did this, and the result was a fantastic horn that in many ways significantly outplays similar horns of its class.
It's original lacquer is in great shape, the valves are quick, quiet, and have excellent compression. This is a fantastic horn that has a lot of life left in it! You'd be hard pressed to get a better horn at this price.
There are a few minor dents and scratches throughout the horn, but nothing major at all. The most significant is evidence of a minor bump at the tip of the leadpipe. But it is not affecting how the horn plays, and really isn't noticeable except upon close inspection.
Included is a nice used SKB hard-shell case. No mouthpiece included except requested.

This instrument may be returned up to one week after the horn is delivered. If the horn is returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. If the instrument is damaged in the posession of the customer, all repairs will be the sole responsilbility of the customer.
