This King 2269 Fidelio is a fantastic instrument. It plays very well with a clean sound and great note slotting in all registers. It has a bright, focused sound. George McCracken designed this model of horn for King back in the day. He really knew what he was doing when he did this, and the result was a fantastic horn that in many ways significantly outplays similar horns of its class. This horn plays great in all registers, and I didn't find a single bad note on it while playtesting it. It has been professionally cleaned and serviced and is ready to play!
This horn has a few things on it that are an upgrade to the normal 2269 horn. Instead of the plastic stop plates, this horn has metal ones. It is a serious upgrade, and I haven't seen this on any other Fidelio horns except for the old ones. Many players have the plastic ones break over time, but these metal ones are much more reliable and make this horn quite a bit more desirable.
This horn has a few signs of use but is in overall excellent condition. There is no major damage on the horn, and it plays excellently.
A nice (essentially new condition) Protec Max case is included. No mouthpiece is included, but if you want one, contact me and I can include a generic mouthpiece with the horn.

This instrument may be returned up to one week after the horn is delivered. If the horn is returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. If the instrument is damaged in the posession of the customer, all repairs will be the sole responsilbility of the customer.
